We set out to help three children and their families, all in different ways. See how we helped a local 10-year-old and her family this holiday season. Thank you, Friends of the Children , for being a North Star. Bright futures begin with someone who tells you you’re capable. Friends of the Children has been that someone to children in Boston for more than 12 years now. Their mentors commit to each child for the long-term – from kindergarten through high school graduation – no matter what. Their work is helping to break the cycle of generational poverty by making sure that these children stay on a successful path and graduate high school. We are proud to know them and happy to be able to help support their mission.
